When to go:
End May to October (excepting 2008, when travel dates are 1st July–15th October 2008)

However, please note days of 30°c are not uncommon in July and August. The climate is extremely dry (making it feel warmer) and sunshine is practically guaranteed.

Jet Airways, Air Deccan and Indian Airlines all have daily flights from Delhi to Leh during the summer months (with Jet cutting their schedule to three to four times a week outside of this period) and we recommend Jet Airways for comfort and reliability.
