The view of
Himalayas changes according to the location in Nepal, Tibet and
India. Have you experienced the rural life of Shakti. Select one of
the three states and for some days, do some driving and trekking to
the villages. Among them, some are accessible only on foot.
It takes only one hour from Delhi on a chartered plane. Almora, a famous
hill-station in India, is the starting point for most of the places.
One climbs the mountain along with Pithor River on the trekking road
that has beautiful paddy, wheat and tea fields. To experience the
above, drop at any village. They would smilingly say ‘Namaste’. Most
of the people here are farmers. The food cooked by them is
delicious. One may enjoy Himalayas while enjoying this peculiar
village culture. Moreover there are many exciting options in the
‘Kitty’.
At an hour and 30 min uphill from the last village “Jholabanji’ there is a
wonderful hotel to relax called ‘360° Leti’. There are 4 guest rooms
and all the bed-rooms are glass covered. So when you’ll open your
eyes, you’ll find an amazing view of Himalayas. And of course, the
services here are comparable to a five-star. The Butler would take
proper care of yours during your whole stay. The chef is called
‘Maharaj’ and the hotel takes pride in bringing the food cooked by
him. You have to stay at least three days in the hotel as its rule.
Usually the business time of Indian Mountain resorts is from October
to April. But this hotel remains open in the rainy season also as it
is an altitude of 4000 meters. Rain is scarce as it is an altitude
above the cloud. There is no mobile network or television. Your
information level will not be up to date but you’ll enjoy Himalayas
and while walking in fresh air, it will for sure, recharge your body
and you’ll energetic.
You can roam between villages and the scenery will change with each
village. Enjoy them in your relax mood, even the alleys are worth a
walk. If you are lucky you may see local festivals like a marriage
ceremony. For a moment you’ll recall the village of Japan and its
paddy fields. Darjeeling is nearby. You may go to tea fields and see
people plucking tea. |
