While walking is our principal activity, some itineraries offer optional cycling on quiet tracks (in Ladakh only). Distances and terrain vary daily, but every walk is carefully planned with rest stops, picnic lunches and cultural visits.

We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requirements. Simply let us know in advance, and your chef and guides will ensure every meal is safe, varied and delicious.

Yes. We’ll send a comprehensive packing list covering clothing layers, sturdy walking boots, sun and rain protection, a refillable water bottle, personal medications and any specialist kit.
It’s useful, though signal can be intermittent. We recommend downloading offline maps and sharing emergency contacts before you depart. Coverage varies; some villages have patchy service. Satellite communication is strictly illegal in India and must not be used or even carried.
We provide a 24-hour emergency helpline number (India-based), and you can share this with family and friends before you travel.
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance (including emergency evacuation) is mandatory for all guests.
