“With regard to our time in Kumaon, wow! Despite having travelled a lot and done many amazing things, the whole Shakti experience was right up there! Our guide was so great and very knowledgeable about the people, the landscape, flora and fauna (we met a few of the guides and they all seemed wonderful and their guests also vouches for that).....We totally loved every minute of our stay.”

We particularly appreciated the effort made for Christmas Day, eg Christmas tree, Christmas hats and a delicious cake. In addition to the guide, we felt the food and accommodation were exceptional.”

“What an amazing time it was. As we fly home from Frankfurt today, I am reflecting over some of the many wonderful memories we have, from our trip. “I also still owe you feedback on the Ladakh trip. What can I say …… it was another really outstanding trip with Shakti. Highlights were the trekking, I sat for an hour on top of the ridge taking in the mountains (had fantastic clear weather that day), the festival of course (goes without saying), my trip to Chiling and the stunning drive there, and my excursion further afield to a beautiful monastery and a gorgeous mountain drive back. I also enjoyed the camping and it was fantastic Shakti style. Really excellent and a very hard act to follow for any operator in the world. Truly first class.”
